Leading in far lane of the mens' kayak 200m doubles are Latvia's Krists Straume and Alexksejs Rumjance. They would advance to the finals, but no medals.
Belarus' Raman Piatrushenka and Vadzim Makhneu sprint to win their heat in the semifinals of the men's 200 meter kayak sprint. They go on to win a silver medal.	Seemingly in the lead at left are Germany's Ronald Rauhe and Jonas Ems. The would make the finals, but finish in eighth place.
