Abel Kirui of Kenya holds off Stephen Kiprotich of Uganda in the mens Olympic marathon. But Kiprotich would win gold and Kirui the silver medal. Eyene Abshero from Ethiopia , at left, would not finish the race.	Kirui of Kenya keeps his ever so slight lead over Kiprotich of Uganda who would sprint to first with a time of 2:08;01 followed by Kirui 26 seconds later for the silver medal.
